Become Harder to Break

The Cultivating Resilience Crash Course is a two week email course on the basics of resilience: mindset, nutrition, mobility, breathwork, and the body systems that decide how well you bounce back. One email a day. One clear action a day. Taught by Dr. Chris Ellis, Doctor of Physical Therapy.

$25, one time. No subscription.

Delivered by email, starting right away. Day 0 lands in your inbox first, with your baseline quiz.

Who This Is For

Modern life has made us comfortable, and comfortable has made us fragile. Climate controlled rooms, cushioned shoes, chairs shaped like us. Then a long flight, a heavy suitcase, or a weekend hike takes us out, and we wonder why.

This course is for you if:

- You get sick every time you travel.

- Your back goes out doing ordinary things, like picking something up.

- Your knees, hips, shoulders, or neck complain when you try to be active.

- You stiffen up a little more every year and you can feel your world getting smaller.

- You want a body that adapts instead of one that breaks down.

Resilient people travel without getting sick, pick up something heavy without straining their back, and go for the hike without blowing out a knee. That is not luck. It is trained, on purpose, in small controlled doses of stress, followed by recovery. Stress plus recovery equals adaptation. This course teaches you how to run that equation on yourself, safely and progressively.

You do not need to be an athlete. You need to be willing to do hard things in small doses, a few minutes at a time.

What You Get

Eighteen emails over just over two weeks, in this order:

Mindset first

- Why pain is a signal, not a sentence, and how to turn down its sensitivity.

- Stoicism, doing hard things on purpose, and what resilience actually means. Includes the reading list Chris gives his own patients.

Nutrition

- The Paleo template and the insulin model of health.

- Prioritize protein, control carbs, fill with fat, and how to check your own numbers.

Mobility, joint by joint

- Nine short lessons in body order: ankle and toes, knee, hip, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers.

- Simple tests first, so you know your starting point, then the drills.

- The dose is small on purpose: 10 minutes a week per area, about 2 minutes a day.

Breathwork

- How breathing steers your nervous system, brake and gas pedal.

- The BOLT test to measure your CO2 tolerance, nasal breathing, and a daily breathing routine.

Physiologic Flexibility

- pH: why the burn in your muscles is acid, and how to train tolerance for it.

- Temperature and exposure training: heat and cold, on purpose, starting small, with the safety rules stated plainly.

- Oxygen and CO2 delivery, and blood glucose, the regulator behind most chronic disease.

The finale

- One final email with the full list of everything Chris recommends: the books, podcasts, articles, videos, tools, and the complete mobility exercise list from the course, in one place you can save.

The community

- Registration includes access to Cultivating Resilience, our private Facebook group, where course members ask questions, share wins, and keep each other going between emails.

How It Works

- Buy once for $25. The course is delivered entirely by email.

- Day 0 arrives first: how the course works, and your baseline Dynamic Flex Index quiz score.

- After that, one email a day for 17 more days. Each email is short, teaches one piece, and ends with one clear action.

- Most days take a few minutes of reading and a few minutes of practice. The mobility dose is 2 minutes a day. The breathwork routine is about 10 minutes.

- On the last day you retake the quiz and compare your score. That before and after is the honest measure of the two weeks.

- Keep every email. Together they are your reference library.

About Dr. Chris Ellis

Dr. Chris Ellis is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of Dynamic Physio Therapy in Naples, Florida. His practice sits where physical therapy meets functional medicine: movement, mobility, and strength on one side, and blood sugar, breathing, recovery, and resilience on the other.

This crash course is built from the same material he teaches his own patients: the mindset work, the mobility system, and the physiologic flexibility framework behind his Dynamic Flex Index assessment. It is the basics, sequenced the way he would teach them in the clinic, for people who cannot come to Naples to hear it in person.

If $25 is not the right step today, start with the measurement.

The Dynamic Flex Index is a short, free self assessment that scores your adaptive capacity across the five pillars of resilience. It shows you where you are strongest and where you are most fragile, which is exactly where a course like this one goes to work.

Take it now, write down your score, and when you are ready for the crash course, you will already have your baseline.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the course delivered?

By email. One email a day for 18 days, starting with a Day 0 welcome email. Each lesson is written to read in a few minutes and ends with one action for the day. There is no course portal and nothing to log into.

How much time does each day take?

A few minutes of reading, plus the day's practice. Mobility days run about 2 minutes of work. The breathwork routine is about 10 minutes. Nothing in this course asks for an hour of your day.

Do I need any equipment?

No. The course is built around bodyweight work and things around the house. A few lessons name optional tools if you want them, like a foam roller or a similar tool for the upper back, a stick or PVC pipe, and a lacrosse ball. Every drill has a way to start without buying anything.

Is this medical advice?

No. This course is education only and is not medical advice. It does not replace care from your own doctor or physical therapist. Check with your clinician before starting new exercise, diet, supplement, sauna, or cold exposure practices, especially if you have a medical condition. The lessons on heat and cold exposure state their contraindications and safety rules plainly, and those come first.

What happens when the course ends?

On the final day you get the complete recommendations list from the whole course in one email, and you retake the Dynamic Flex Index quiz to compare against your Day 0 score. Graduates also get a limited time offer on Built to Adapt, the full program this crash course is the front door to. The list and the lessons are yours to keep either way.

What if it is not for me?

All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds on this course. It is delivered in full by email starting the moment you buy, and the lessons and the final recommendations list are yours to keep. If anything goes wrong with delivery or billing, contact us and we will make it right.

Two weeks from now, you could be harder to break.

Mindset, nutrition, mobility joint by joint, breathwork, and the systems that decide how fast you recover. One email a day, one action a day, taught the way Dr. Ellis teaches his own patients.

$25, one time.

One honest note to finish. This crash course gives you the map. At the end of it, graduates get 7 days to join Built to Adapt, the full guided program built on this same framework, at $50 off its $297 price with code ADAPT50. That offer is there if you want to keep going. The crash course itself stands on its own, and the final recommendations list is yours to keep regardless.

Educational note: This course is education only and is not medical advice. It does not replace care from your own doctor or physical therapist. Check with your clinician before starting new exercise, diet, supplement, sauna, or cold exposure practices, especially if you have a medical condition.
